About us

Minnesota Social Service Association (MSSA) is a 121 year old member-driven association representing more than 3,400 health and human service professionals and 150 agencies with a shared mission, uniting diverse professions and passionate people through education and legislative advocacy to enrich lives. 
MSSA represents a unique cross section of non-profit and for-profit agencies from the public and private sector. Our members work in all fields of health and human services including mental health, chemical health, aging, children's services, unemployment, homelessness and more; our members include direct practice professionals, supervisors, managers, directors, elected officials and more.

Director of Membership Services—Job Posting 

Job Summary 
The Director of Member Services has primary responsibility for managing and implementing membership activities, services and databases to ensure a meaningful and positive membership experience for MSSA members.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree  in Marketing, Communications, Administration, Membership/Volunteer Management or related field;  with at least three years related work experience. Ability to handle multiple tasks, projects and priorities effectively and professionally. Excellent, positive interpersonal and customer service skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Experience in managing and utilizing membership databases. Organized, able to attend to details and provide error free work products.  

Closing Date August 15, 2014

Salary $41,200-$61,800
