MSSA has great scholarships available! 

 

MSSA offers an Undergraduate Education Scholarship, a Graduate Scholarship and a Diversity Scholarship throughout the year.  Each scholarship has specific qualifications and a scholarship application.  To be considered for the scholarship, you must complete the correct form. 

 

The Graduate Scholarship has been formulated to enhance the professional and/or technical skill development of those seeking a masters degree in a human service field.

 

The Undergraduate Scholarship has been formulated to enhance the professional and/or technical skill development of those seeking education in a human service field.

 

The Diversity Scholarship has been formulated to assist students from African-American, American Indian, Asian, GLBT, Hispanic and Immigrant Cultures in completing their education in the Human Service Field.

 

The administering body for the scholarships will be governed by the MSSA Board of Directors.  The administration and selection of applicants will be managed by the Chair of the Scholarship Committee, as appointed by the MSSA President.

 

The recipients of the scholarships will be announced as awarded in the MSSA Voice.  To receive the scholarship money, the recipient must provide a copy of current high school report card or college transcript stating the student received at least a B or 3.0 grade point average, or other successful progress report and two letters of reference.
