Interested in serving on a committee?  MSSA offers a wide variety.

 

CommunicationsThis committee is responsible for MSSA’s publications and website content.  Majority of the communication between committee members is done via email.

 

Conference CouncilThe Conference Council takes the leadership role in planning the annual spring conference and education forums held throughout the year.  The council meets 4-6 times annually.  With subcommittees meeting several times throughout the year.

 

Membership/Diversity CouncilThe Membership/Diversity Council is dedicated to increasing membership with a special emphasis on diverse populations.  The Council meets 4-6 times annually.

 

Legislative CouncilThe Legislative Council works with the Agency and Regional Delegates to set the MSSA Public Policy Agenda.  The Council meets approximately 6 times annually.

 

Regions CouncilThe Regions Council is a statewide committee representing each MSSA region.  Regional representatives are elected by each region.  This council is open to all Regional Representatives as well as regional board members.  The council meets 3 times annually.

 

Scholarship The Scholarship Council is responsible for the selection of all scholarship winners.  The committee business is conducted via conference calls and email.
