Beth Ringer is the MSSA's Executive Director. Beth has worked in nonprofits in Minnesota for over 10 years, and she has professional experience in outreach, nonprofit management, and community organizing. Prior to working with MSSA, Beth was the Director of Community Outreach and Engagement with NAMI Minnesota. Beth holds a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Minnesota.

Michelle SanCartier is the Director of Public Policy and Advocacy at Minnesota Social Service Association. Michelle has worked in the health and human services field for over 10 years and has professional experience in policy analysis and development, legislative advocacy, grassroots engagement, project management, and research. Prior to MSSA, Michelle was a Health Policy Analyst at Be The Match, where she served as the state policy lead. Michelle holds a Master’s degree in Public Health and a Master’s degree in social work from the University of Minnesota. 

Suzanne Lamoreaux (she/her)

Suzanne Lamoreaux is the Director of Operations for MSSA. She has worked in the public and nonprofit sector, focusing on youth development, poverty alleviation, program evaluation, community development, and environmental advocacy. Suzanne has a BA in History and French from Rutgers University.

Katy Jo Turner is the Director of Membership & Marketing at MSSA. Prior to working at MSSA, she worked with chapters of NAMI (the National Alliance on Mental Illness), managing their outreach to grow their local leadership, program offerings, attendance at events, and fundraising. She has been a copywriter and copyeditor and worked in acquisitions in book publishing until publishing her own children’s book. She has a BS in English with minors in natural resource management and writing.

Shereen Reda is the Director of Professional Development for MSSA. Shereen has worked in non-profits for more than 10 years and has experience in event management, program coordination, multi-disciplinary collaboration, training and education, community outreach, and direct service. Prior to her role with MSSA, Shereen was the Chapter Coordinator for NASW-MN, where she managed all continuing education programming and communications. Shereen has a Master of Social Work degree from Augsburg University.
