Beth Ringer, MSW, LGSW
Executive Director

Beth Ringer is the MSSA's Executive Director. Beth has worked in nonprofits in Minnesota for 10 years, and she has professional experience in outreach, marketing and communications, program development, community organizing, and youth development. Prior to her role with MSSA, Beth was the Director of Community Outreach and Engagement with NAMI Minnesota. Beth holds a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Minnesota.
Sharon Hollister

Sharon Hollister is the Director of Professional Development for MSSA. Sharon has worked in the association and non-profit sector for over 13 years. Her professional experiences include conference and event planning, association management, and grant and award program management. Before joining MSSA, Sharon was a Senior Account Executive at The Harrington Company. Sharon earned her Bachelor's in Biology with a minor in Speech Communications from Coe College, Cedar Rapids, IA. She also earned her Master's in Environmental and Forest Biology from the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry, Syracuse, NY.
Michelle SanCartier, MPH, MSW

Michelle SanCartier is the Director of Public Policy and Advocacy at Minnesota Social Service Association. Michelle has worked in the health and human services field for over 10 years and has professional experience in policy analysis and development, legislative advocacy, grassroots engagement, project management, and research. Prior to MSSA, Michelle was a Health Policy Analyst at Be The Match, where she served as the state policy lead. Michelle holds a Master’s degree in Public Health and a Master’s degree in social work from the University of Minnesota.
Suzanne Lamoreaux

Suzanne Lamoreaux is the Association Coordinator for MSSA. She has worked in the social sector for 10 years in areas such as youth development, poverty alleviation, program evaluation, community development, and environmental advocacy. Suzanne has a BA from Rutgers University in New Jersey, where she is from.
Nora Beyers

Nora Beyers is currently completing her Master of Social Work degree at the University of Minnesota, Duluth. Nora is looking forward to working on the public policy and advocacy side of social work and is grateful to have this opportunity at MSSA to learn everything she can and improve her macro social work practice.
