Every year MSSA sponsors $4,500 in scholarships for students in human service related degree seeking programs in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, North Dakota, and South Dakota. Two MSSA John Moline Scholarships are given in the amount of $1,000 each to an undergraduate student enrolled in a human service related program. The MSSA Diversity Scholarship is given in the amount of $1,000 to a student who is from a diverse background enrolled in a undergraduate human service program. The Graduate Scholarship is given in the amount of $1,500 to a graduate student enrolled in a health and human service related program.
Scholarship applications are accepted April 1-May 31. Applicants may apply to more than one scholarship if they meet requirements for multiple scholarships. Scholarship recipients will be announced in August for the upcoming school year. Recipients will be asked to submit a photo and short bio for publication in MSSA's promotional materials. MSSA encourages all students in human service related degree seeking programs in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, North Dakota, or South Dakota to apply.
