March 9, 2020 - According to the MN Department of Health (MDH) there are two confirmed cases of the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) in Minnesota. MSSA is holding its annual conference March 11-13, 2020 as planned. The MDH encourages Minnesotans to take the same precautions recommended for avoiding colds and flu and we encourage all conference participants to do the same by practicing routine healthy hygiene habits such as covering your mouth/nose when coughing or sneezing; refraining from touching your eyes, nose or mouth; and washing your hands thoroughly with soap and water.  If you have a compromised immune system or are currently ill and have a written order from your doctor not to travel or attend large gatherings please contact MSSA to arrange for a refund.
