Jacob Reitan, JD, Reitan Law Office
Learn the difference between Social Security Disability Insurance (RSDI) and Supplemental Security Income (SSI) disability benefits. Other topics covered include: the application and appeals process; the five-step Social Security Administration process for adjudicating disability claims and how they are applied differently based on age, education, literacy and work history; best practices for strengthening an RSDI and SSI disability claim; and finally, an overview of how RSDI and SSI eligibility changes if the claimant is a refugee, permanent resident or US citizen.

1:15 - 3:15 p.m. Being Right or Being Liked...The Impact of Narcissism and Co-dependency on Couples and Families
Todd Mulliken, LPCC, Owner, Mulliken Counseling Center

Some people like to be right....some like to be liked. Todd Mulliken will discuss narcissism and co-dependency and their interaction and impact on couples and families. Through Todd's 25+ years working with couples, he has noticed a tendency for one person to be vulnerable to control and the other vulnerable to please. Often times these tendencies cause significant issues. Todd will discuss how these issues play out in families and ways to support healing and growth.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

MSSA does not refund individual or agency member dues.
MSSA does not refund registration fees unless MSSA receives written notification of cancellation 3 weeks prior to the event. There is a $25 processing fee for all refunds.
In some circumstances, refunds may not be available. In these cases, the specific refund policy will be listed on the registration information. 
Event registration fees can be transferred to another person.
