MSSA’s Annual Training Conference and Expo is the largest, most comprehensive, cost effective health and human service conference in the Midwest. Our 2021 virtual conference brought together a record 3,700 health and human service professionals from all parts of Minnesota and the surrounding states. Educational sessions covered a broad spectrum of topics and featured high quality, local and nationally recognized speakers. COVID-19 Statement (UPDATED 2/24/2022): By registering as a 2022 in-person participant you agree to adhere to and abide by the safety precautions MSSA implements to protect against the spread of COVID-19. The MSSA Board of Directors approved the following COVID-19 policy at the Board Meeting on 1/28/2022. For MSSA's in-person conference, attendees must provide either proof of up-to-date COVID-19 vaccination (with last dose at least 2 weeks prior to the conference, including booster dose if eligible) OR proof of a negative COVID-19 test (PCR or antigen) conducted by a third-party medical provider within 3 days prior to the conference. Despite the lifting of the mask mandate in Minneapolis, we will require all individuals, regardless of vaccination status, to wear a mask covering their mouth and nose when not actively engaged in eating and/or drinking onsite. Presenters will be exempt from the mask requirement during their presentation.
