Student Opportunities

As tomorrow’s leaders, students are a very important segment of MSSA’s membership. MSSA’s Annual Training Conference and Expo is a great place for students to network with professionals and make real world connections to what they are learning in their classes. By attending the conference students have access to a wide variety of breakout sessions covering both current and emerging practices that will take their education to the next level. The exhibit hall is a great place to network and learn about health and human service providers who attend our conference as sponsors.

Student Poster Session and Student Showcase

The Student Poster Session and Student Showcase is an opportunity for students to share their research and knowledge. Students who have been working on a project, thesis, or dissertation are invited to submit a proposal for a poster and/or a showcase presentation.

Students: Submissions Closed

The number of student posters selected is dependent on the number of submissions and space available. For the Student Showcase, the top 3 student proposals will be selected to present in a paper format (20-minute presentation, 5-minute Q&A with 3 presentations in a 90 minute session).
Student Submission Deadline Extension: Saturday, January 31, 2022
Student Notification Deadline : Friday, February 11, 2022
