MSSA strives to provide our members with the tools to help them better serve their clients. As an MSSA member, you will gain access to benefits that will help you save time and money, earn CEUs, network with other agencies and peers, and advocate for yourself and your clients.
Annual Training Conference and Expo
Annual Training Conference and Expo
MSSA members receive discounted registration for MSSA’s Annual Training Conference and Expo, the largest, most comprehensive gathering of health and human service professionals in the state. Each year, conference attendees can earn at least 18 CEUs, choose from over 120 workshops, and network with more than 100 exhibitors and 3000 professionals from across the health and human service field. Save the date for the 127th Annual Training Conference and Expo, March 11-13, 2020, at the Minneapolis Hilton.
MSSA also offers regional fall conferences around the state to provide opportunities for members to stay up-to-date on current knowledge and best practices in the health and human service field year-round. Continuing education is one of the ways that MSSA provides support to help sustain health and human service professionals in their important and difficult work.
MSSA provides opportunities for members to advocate for themselves and their clients at the capitol through our grassroots public policy program. MSSA helps members understand the legislative process, move their issues forward, and connect with legislators and other stakeholders. Members also receive exclusive legislative updates during the legislative session.
Connect with other health and human service professionals in your area and around the state through events and conferences.

When you become a member of MSSA, you will automatically be connected to your local regional chapter. Regions provide a place for members to focus on issues relevant to specific parts of Minnesota and to network with other local professionals.

Health and human service professionals often receive little recognition for the valuable and challenging work that they do every day. Each year, MSSA members recognize the unsung heroes of the profession at the regional and state levels with MSSA’s awards.
