Student Opportunities

As tomorrow’s leaders, students are a very important segment of MSSA’s membership. MSSA’s Annual Training Conference and Expo is a great place for students to network with professionals and make real world connections with what they are learning in their coursework. By attending the conference students have access to a wide variety of breakout sessions that will take their education to the next level by learning about both current and emerging practices. The exhibit hall is a great place to network and learn about health and human service providers who attend our conference as exhibitors.

Student Poster Session and Student Showcase - Closed

The Student Poster Session and returning Student Showcase is an opportunity for students to share their research and knowledge. Students who have been working on a project, thesis, or dissertation are invited to submit a proposal for a poster and/or a showcase presentation.

The number of student posters selected is dependent on the number of submissions and space available. For the Student Showcase, the top 3 student proposals will be selected to present in a paper format (20-minute presentation, 5-minute Q&A with 3 presentations in a 90 minute session).

Student Submission Deadline: Friday, February 5, 2021
